Winnie L Hock's Obituary
Winnie Lou Hock, 74, of Casey, IL passed away at 9:42 p.m. on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Coles County, IL. She was born March 29, 1936, in Casey, IL, the daughter of Lewis Earl Reed and Rogene Turner Reed. Survivors include son, Roy Hock of Casey, IL; daughters, Terri Hock of Casey, IL, Karen Philippi and husband Mike of Casey, IL and Shari Hock of Casey, IL; grandchildren, Tara Kelly, Christopher Schultz, Kelly Blanchard, Brian Hock and Libby Van Hoveln; great grandchild, Marley Van Hoveln; brother, Victor "bud" Reed of Casey, IL and her companion for over 20 years, Don Stumborg. She was preceded in death by her parents. Winnie managed the Casey Motel for many years until her retirement. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, December 3, 2010 at the Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, IL with Rev. Gene Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in the Washington Street Cemetery, Casey. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
