William Harris' Obituary
William Henry "Bill" Harris, age 65, of Casey, formerly of Mapleton, IL, died on Saturday, October 8, 2005 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at the Greenup Baptist Church with Rev. Brooke Davis officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on October 11 at the church. He was born July 31, 1940 in Toledo, IL, the son of Lester and Margaret Fritts Harris. He married Donna Harris on February 9, 1957; she survives. He was the retired owner of "Bartonville Autobody" in Bartonville from 1969 to 1982. He served his country for 12 years in the US Army. Surviving are his wife Donna Harris, of Casey, sons Carl "Bill" Harris and wife Sharon of Mapleton, IL, Rich Harris and wife Stacey of Lincoln, IL, Bobby Harris of Morristown, TN and Ryan Harris and wife Stacey of Champaign, daughter Randi Parr and husband Steve of Casey, brothers Robert Harris of Mattoon, Richard Harris of Martinsville and Walter Harris of Casey, sisters Carolyn Ray of Mattoon, Clara Mae Wilkins of Casey, Alberta Hupp of Casey, Roberta Beaubout of Fisher, IL, Marilyn Kemper of Greenup and Theresa Kemper of Greenup, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandchild, Michael Phillip Harris. Memorials may be made to Lincolnland Hospice.
