Warren Emerson Linn's Obituary
Warren Emerson Linn, 92, of Casey, IL passed away at 6:06 p.m. on Monday, March 19, 2012 at Union Hospital, Terre Haute, IN. He was born September 22, 1919 in Pasco, WA, the son of John Milton Linn and Mabel Beabout Linn. On September 22, 1940, he married Evelyn "Etta" Bernice Lamb in Henderson, Kentucky. She passed away on September 19, 2010. Survivors include his son, Larry Eugene Linn and wife Zella of Boca Raton, FL; grandchildren, Nancy Eady and husband Mark of Tallassee, AL, Col. Cheryl Carter and husband John of Severn, MD, and Stacy Moon and husband Buddy of Huntsville, AL; great granddaughter, Kayla Linn Eady, and mother of his granddaughters, Dottie Linn of Jacksonville, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother, Lionel Linn and sisters, Maxine Zollner and Wilma Masterson. Warren was a member of the First Christian Church of Casey, IL. He was retired as a printer for the Casey Daily Reporter for twenty years and worked for Underwood Electric for five years. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 23, 2012 at Markwell Funeral Home in Casey, IL with Rev. Randy Black officiating. Burial will follow in the Washington Street Cemetery, Casey, IL. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service on Friday at the Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL. Memorial donations and contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1510 Grandview Dr., Champaign, IL 61820.
