Wanietta Darline Morgan's Obituary
Wanietta Darline Morgan, age 92, of Findlay, Ohio died Thursday, July 28, 2011 at Birchaven Retirement Village, Findlay. Darline was born on July 11, 1919 in Martinsville, Illinois to William Dixon and Mabel Mercedes (Buckle) Perisho. She was married to Robert Lee Morgan on November 24, 1937 and he preceded her in death on February 28, 2001 after sixty-three years of marriage. She is survived by her sons, Larry Gene (Leanna) Morgan, Kennewick, WA and Gary Joe (Mary) Morgan, Oak Harbor, OH; six grandchildren, David Lee Morgan, Seattle, WA, Jenora Elizabeth (Dion) Greenwalt, Spokane, WA, Sara Theresa Morgan, Kennewick, WA, Melanie Jenee (Andy) Chapin, Kennewick, WA, Lisa Nicole Morgan, Oak Harbor, OH and Lindsay Jo Morgan, Phenix City, AL; and one great grandchild, Jacob Andrew Chapin, Kennewick, WA. Darline accepted Jesus as her personal Savior at age twelve and throughout her life put her faith in God in all things. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and loved her family. She was very proud of her children, grandchildren and her great grandchild. Darline had many friends and was a successful Avon representative for many years and enjoyed her many customers. She also served as a precinct worker for many years and was a strong believer in our democratic form of government and our individual responsibility to participate by voting. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a more than fifty year member of the Eastern Star, St. Grace Chapter, Martinsville, IL. A funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Calvary Baptist Church in Findlay, Ohio with Pastors Stephen Inman and Tim England officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2011 at the Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, OH. Burial will take place in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Martinsville, IL where she will be laid to rest beside her husband at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 3, 2011.
