Walter William Duniphan, 66 of Casey, IL passed away at 9:47 am at Union Hospital, Terre Haute, IN. He was born April 13, 1940 in Trilla, IL to Luther Estel Duniphan and Mable Irene Redfern Duniphan. On July 29, 1961 in Turtle Creek, PA he married Joan "Jo" Carole McGraw. Survivors include his wife, Joan "Jo" Duniphan of Casey, IL; sons, David Duniphan and wife Jeannette of Casey, IL; George Duniphan and wife Carol of Casey, IL; Walter Max Duniphan of Casey, IL; and Danny Duniphan and wife Denise of Greenup, IL; daughter, Sheila Eastep of Casey, IL; brother, Max L. Duniphan of Casey, IL; sisters, Alberta Parsley of Isabel, IL; Ruth Vernon, Roberta Durnal, Shirley Donhou, Patty Huddlestun and Myrtle Miller of Casey, IL; grandchildren, Adam Lovell, Heather Garmany, David Duniphan, Jr., Sam Shaw, Jr., Amanda Shaw, Danny Shaw, Lee Eastep, Amy Duniphan, Jonathan Duniphan, Danny Duniphan, Jr., Kylee Rhoden, Allison Rhoden and Marla Rhoden; great grandchildren, Alex Craig, Eliza Shaw, Coryssa Garmany and Tatum Duniphan. He was preceded by his parents and one grandson, Michael Shutts. Mr. Duniphan was a self employed Electronics Technician and was enlisted in the United States Army from 1959 to 1962. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, IL. Burial will be in the Washington Street Cemetery, Casey, IL. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12 until 2 pm at Markwell Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family.
