Vickie Sue Montgomery's Obituary
Vickie Sue Montgomery, 57, of Casey, IL passed away at 8:59 a.m. on Monday, January 14, 2008 at her home of natural causes. She was born on January 7, 1951 in Casey, IL the daughter of Charles Victor Montgomery and Norma L. Boyd Montgomery. Survivors include her dad, Charles Montgomery of Casey, IL; her brother, Jerry Montgomery of Champaign, IL; her sister, Sandy Montgomery of Edwardsville, IL; and many cousins and friends. Her mother, Norma L. Montgomery passed away on December 23, 2002. Vickie was retired as a truck weight inspector for the Illinois State Police. She was a member of the Casey VFW Auxiliary. Vickie was a 1969 graduate of Casey High School and a 1972 graduate of Eastern Illinois University. Vickie was an avid University of Illinois Fighting Illini and SIU Edwardsville Softball sports fan. Funeral Services will at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2007 at the Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, IL with Rev. Dan Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Washington Street Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the SIU Edwardsville Softball Program, Box 1129, Edwardsville, IL 62026.
