Vicki Diane Curtis' Obituary
Vicki Diane Curtis, 55, of Casey, IL passed away at 9:45 a.m. on Friday, August 5, 2011 at her home. She was born May 14, 1956, in Terre Haute, IN, the daughter of David Augustus Birchfield and Betty Rowena Coleman Birchfield. On August 12, 1973, she married James C. Curtis in Casey, IL. He passed away on July 2, 2010. Survivors include son, David Carl Curtis of Casey, IL; Michelle Stivers and husband Jimmy of Cedar Rapids, IA; daughter; Betty Jean Sewell and husband James of Martinsville, IL; mother, Betty Birchfield of Casey, IL; brother, Tracy Birchfield and wife Virginia "Ginger" of Casey, IL and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, husband and infant brother. Vicki worked as a Certified Nurses Aid for Lincolnland Hospice. She was a former member of the Women's Auxiliary and the Moose. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at the Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, IL with Rev. Larry Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the Casey Cumberland Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial tributes and condolences may be send to the family at www.markwellfuneralhome.com.
