Twila Susan (Long) Miller's Obituary
Twila Susan (Long) Miller, age 62, of Westfield, IL passed away Saturday evening, December 27, 2025 at Marshall Rehabilitation and Nursing, Marshall, IL. She was born April 4, 1963 in San Diego, CA the daughter of Bart Philip Long and Carol Frances (Smith) Long. On July 16, 1983 she married James A. Miller in Martinsville, IL. He passed away on December 4, 2020.
Survivors include her brothers, Michael Long (Debbie) of Martinsville, IL and Mark Long (Yvonne) of Martinsville, IL; aunt, Mary Himes of Martinsville, IL; nephews and nieces, Christopher Long (Angela), April Kelly (Dave), Anneka Long, Whitney Hill (Tony), and Brittany Duvall; great nephews and nieces, Anthony Scott, Logan Scott, Autumn Kelly, Ethan Kelly, Ares Long, Rhythm Long, Alexandria Coleman, Joshua Coleman, Riley Duvall, Braxten Duvall, Quintin Duvall, and Brexlei Long; great great niece, Averi Smith; brothers-in-law, Russell Miller (Vivan) of Etna, IL, Craig Miller of Etna, IL, and Johnny Miller of Etna, IL; sisters-in-law, Rebecca Ard (Wayne) of Etna, IL, Rachel Stambaugh of Neoga, IL; and many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces on Jim’s side. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bart and Carol Long; husband, Jim Miller; father and mother-in-law, James and Dorothy Miller; uncle, Roy Long; aunt, Lucinda Echoles and sister-in-law, Tana Long.
Twila was a 1982 graduate of Martinsville High School. She worked at TRW as a repair tech. She was a member of the Loyal Order of the Eastern Star. Twila enjoyed attending festivals and flea markets. She collected cookie jars, wolves, bears, and Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm memorabilia. Twila’s greatest love was Jim, and she cherished time spent with him.
Combined funeral services with Twila’s father will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2026 at Greenwell Funeral Home with Pastor Zoila Marty officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. on Thursday evening, January 8, 2026 at Greenwell Funeral Home, 30 N. Washington St., Martinsville, IL. Eastern Star service will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. following the visitation.
