Terry Ray Cooper's Obituary
Terry Ray Cooper died December 19, 2014. He was born August 11, 1943 in Billings, Montana to the late Leo and C. Mae Shrider Cooper. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Eastern Illinois University. He received his Master's Degree from Indiana State. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War in 1968 in the 25th Infantry. A resident of Okeechobee since 1974, he was a member of the American Legion. He loved people and never met a stranger. He was a collector, his likes changing over the years. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Karen Cooper of Okeechobee; stepson, Khristian Moore of Clewiston; daughter-in-law, Julie Moore of Okeechobee; three grandchildren, Kameron, Kyndall, Khloe. A gathering of family and friends celebrating Terry's life will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at the Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL.
