Teresa Ann Malone's Obituary
Teresa Ann Malone, age 73, of Bone Gap, IL passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign, IL.
Teresa was born March 30, 1951 to Lee D. and Bettie L. (Copley) Murray in Olney, IL. She married Aaron Malone in 1994 in Albion, IL. He preceded her in death on October 26, 2013.
Teresa was an extraordinary cook and loved to cook for her kids and grandkids. She loved sitting outside an enjoying her view. She also enjoyed staying up late to watch her mystery shows. Teresa worked for many years as a CNA/Cook at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Albion, IL and West Salem Manor in West Salem, IL.
She is survived by her four sons Shane (Holly) Greifzu of Parkersburg, IL, Robert (Courtney) Malone of Parkersburg, IL, Erik (Dottie) Malone of West Salem, IL, and Daniel (Carrie) Malone of Casey, IL; one brother Michael Murray of Albion, IL; one sister Becky (Carl) Gerrish of Patoka, IL; eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, with one on the way; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother Ronnie Murray, and one son Jason Hutton.
A Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date.
