Sarahbell F. Brown, 69, of Casey, IL passed away at 6:03 a.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at her home in Casey, IL. She was born January 31, 1944 in Danville, IL, the daughter of Rev. Donald R. Williams and Martha Lou Frazer Williams. On September 15, 1973 she married Robert W. Brown in Danville, IL. Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of forty years, Bob Brown of Casey, IL; son, Dirk Minick and companion Kay Mitchell of Casey, IL; daughter, Dalane Bradfield and husband Gordon "Rocky" of Bismark, IL; brothers, Donald "Fred" Williams and wife Marty of Perrysville, IL and Terry Powell and wife Joyce of Peru, IL; sisters, Rebecca E. Steidel and husband David of Danville, IL and Connie Trader of Lafeyette, IN; grandchildren, Holly Minick Heimbuecher and husband Shawn; Chad Minick and wife Becca; Benjamin Bradfield and wife Bethany and Alexander M. Bradfield; great grandson, Caleb Benjamin Bradfield; nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Linda Overland and nephew, Damian Williams. Sarah was a retired insurance broker and co-owner of R.W. Brown Insurance Agency. She worked for B&B Commodity Futures as a commodity markets radio reporter on WKZI radio station. Sarah was a member and past president of the Casey Women's' Club. Sarah tutored with PALS (Partners in Adult Literacy) and worked in hospitals and grocery stores. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and a dear friend to many. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at the Markwell Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Penelope H. Barber and Rev. Ray Finney officiating. Burial will follow in the Casey Cumberland Cemetery, Casey, IL. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL.
