Rubye Eileen Denney, 81, of Casey, IL was called home by our Lord and Savior on Monday, March 3, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was born November 14, 1932 in Ashmore, IL, the daughter of Arthur Edward and Verna Pearl Jackson Reddick. On January 13, 1951 she married Kenneth Eugene "Gene" Denney in Paris, IL. Survivors include her loving husband, Gene Denney of Casey, IL; daughters, Toni Davidson and special friend Larry and Dexxey Livingston and husband Jack; grandchildren, Rachelle Carlen, Stefanie (Troy) Collier, Bill Carlen, Heather Davidson (Billy Skinner), Jack Livingston, Jr., Teresa Wilkins, Tracy (Eunice) Livingston and Brice (Sheila) Livingston; great grandchildren, Dylan Parr, Kayla and Whitney Collier, Jadelyn Carlen and Gavin Davidson; great great granddaughters, Octavia and Ortenzia Collier; sisters, Dorothy (Russell) Glidewell and Janet (Ronnie) McMechan; brother, Russell (Linda) Reddick and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Neil, Don, Max, Bill, and Arthur Reddick, Jr.; sisters, Lila Johnson Conrad and Phyllis Campbell; great granddaughter, Zoe Abigal Collier and special son in law, Gale Davidson. Rubye was a member of the First Christian Church in Casey, IL and the Casey Moose Lodge. She was retired from Birchwood Nursing Home where she was a bookkeeper for over twenty-one years. Rubye was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her ultimate love was spending time with her family and her beloved dogs, Pepper and Ruffie. Private family services will be held at the Markwell Funeral Home in Casey, IL. Burial will follow in the Casey Cumberland Cemetery, Casey, IL. Memorial donations may be made to the Donor's Choice.
