Roy Dean Hills, 68, of Westfield, IL passed away at 11:50 a.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2007 at his residence. He was born April 7, 1939 in Westfield, IL, the son of Howard Jacob Hills and Mary Martha Merrick Hills. On April 30, 1959, he married Ruby L. Banks in Toldeo, IL. Survivors include wife, Ruby Hills of Westfield, IL; sons, Bill Hills and wife Kim of Westfield, IL; Michael Hills and wife Marie of Charleston, IL and Danny Hills of Westfield, IL; brother, Howard "Leon" Hills and wife Susie of Yakima, WA; sister, Eileen Hills of Casey, IL, seventeen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. His parents, son, Jamie Hills and brothers, Max, Bill and Tom Hills preceded him. Mr. Hills was a forklift driver for Vesuvius USA in Charleston, IL for over twenty-five years. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at the Markwell Chapel, Westfield, IL with Rev. Ray Finney officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Westfield, IL. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the chapel. Memorials may be made to the family. Markwell Funeral Home of Casey - Westfield is in charge of the arrangements.
