Rosella E. Hill, Annapolis, IL Rosella E. Hill, 91, of Annapolis, IL passed away at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at her home. She was born April 2, 1923 in Porterville, Crawford County, IL, the daughter of Albert Chapman and Abbie Williamson Chapman. On September 16, 1944 she married Wayne Leon Hill in the home of her parents in Porterville, Illinois. Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn Hain and husband Fred of Martinsville, IL; daughter, Joanie Bailey and husband Donnie of Robinson, IL; daughter, Janet Phipps and husband Wayne of Annapolis, IL; grandchildren, Alex Blankenbeker and wife Annette, Teresa Reynolds and husband Rob, Chris Blankenbeker and wife Dawn, Jerry Phipps, Tawnya Riggins and husband Brett; great grandchildren, Cheyenne Blankenbeker, Eli Blankenbeker, Taylor Reynolds, Tyler Reynolds, Kailee Blankenbeker, Olivia Riggins, Kaden Riggins and several nieces and nephews. Her parents, husband; sister, Davana Briggs; half-brothers, Omer Chapman, Ralph Chapman, Rex Goodwin, Harold Chapman and Arthur Sears and half-sisters, Agnes White, Inez Smith and Wilma Thompson preceded her in death. Mrs. Hill was a homemaker. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church for over sixty years where she played the piano for many years. A private graveside service and burial will be held at the Olive Branch Cemetery rural Martinsville, IL with Bro. Billie Ray Ulrey officiating. There will be no visitation.
