Rose Meinhart's Obituary
Rose M. Meinhart, age 95, of Wheeler, died on Monday, August 29 at the Lakeland Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Effingham. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2005 at the St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Bishop Creek, IL. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, September 2, 2005 at the church and burial will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Churc in Island Grove, IL. The Blake-Wright Funeral Home in Dieterich assisted with the arrangements. She was born December 6, 1909 in Island Grove, the daughter of Joseph and Francis Cohorst Meinhart. She was a housekeepr and nanny in Chicago in her early years and later was a caregiver to her family. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Council of Catholic Women. Surviving are a nephew, Dany Meinhart and wife Mary of Montrose, nieces Jane Hewing and husband Bob of Sigel and Carol Buenker and husband Ed of Teutopolis, 14 great nieces and nephews and 17 great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Lawrence Meinhart and one great niece and one great nephew.
