Ronnie Eugene "Ted" Kuhn's Obituary
Ronnie Eugene "Ted" Kuhn, 73, of Casey, Illinois passed away at 2:18 p.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center. He was born December 5, 1935 in Cumberland Country, Illinois, the son of Clifford Kuhn and Murl Darling Kuhn. On October 20, 1972 he married Wanda Lee Poe in Clark County, Illinois. Survivors include his wife, Wanda L. Kuhn of Casey, IL; twin sister, Connie Kimble and husband Joe of Greenup, IL; sister, Lois Ashley of Casey, IL and many nieces and nephews. His parents, brother, Max Kuhn; sisters, Norma DePauw and Virginia Sidwell and brothers in law, Hubert Ashley and Buren Sidwell preceded him in death. Ted was retired from the City of Casey Street Department. He loved to go to the park and feed the birds and squirrels. His hobby was to plant a garden, watch it grow and then share it with his many friends. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at the Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, IL with Rev. Rick Emrich officiating. Burial will be in the Jack Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday evening at the funeral home. Memorial tributes and condolences may be sent to the family at www.markwellfuneralhome.com.
