Ronald "Pete" Keith Wright, age 80, of Casey, IL passed away at 7:17 a.m. on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Heartland Nursing Center, Casey, IL. He was born January 11, 1936 in Casey, IL, the son of Charles Monroe Wright and Sarah Ethel Walters Wright. Survivors include stepchildren, Shelly (Tom) Lamb of Martinsville, IL; Dixie (Tony) Clark of Casey, IL; Kelly Robison, of Casey, IL; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren and nephew, Mike Goodson and many additional nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, his companion of 40 years, Mary Robison; brothers, John Wright, Charles Herschel "Spud" Wright, Harold Lincoln Wright, and Ernest Wright; sisters, Joan Huddlestun, Inez Holt, Nancy Goodson , Helen Louise Wright; stepson, Wendell Robison and step grandson, SPC Charles Robert Lamb. Pete managed Shaffer's Pool Hall in Casey for many years. His favorite past time was playing pool; he was very proud that his pool team traveled to Las Vegas to play in competitions. Interment will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 19, 2016 at the Casey Cumberland Cemetery, Casey, IL with Rev. Steve Jenkins officiating.
