Ronald Eugene "Gene" Gosnell, 46, of Woodburn, Kentucky formerly of Casey, Illinois passed away at 12:27 p.m. on Sunday, March 9, 2008 in Franklin, Kentucky. He was born on March 19, 1961 in Charleston, Illinois, the son of Clarence Edward Gosnell and Margaret Adams Gosnell. Survivors include his son, Ronald Eugene Gosnell, Jr. of Bowling Green, KY; mother, Margaret Gosnell of Casey, IL; brother, Randall Scott Gosnell and wife Pat of New Goshen, IN; sister, Tammy Smith and husband Gerry of Casey, IL; half brothers, Jeff Gosnell of Vermillion, IL; Charlie Gosnell of Paris, IL; and Lee Gosnell of Paris, IL; and grandmother, Betty Adams of Westfield, IL. His father preceded him in death. Gene was a construction laborer. He attended the Casey First Baptist Church and he also attended Casey High School. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at the Maple Hill Cemetery, Westfield, Illinois with Rev. Tom Marsh officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery.
