Rodney Eugene Sullivan, 61, of Greenup, IL passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at 12:10 a.m. at Casey Health Care Center, Casey, IL. He was born on June 1, 1946 in Terre Haute, IN to Millard Eugene Sullivan and Helen Josephine Wellington Sullivan. On February 26, 1966 he married Connie J. Robey in Casey, IL. Survivors include his wife, Connie Sullivan of Greenup, IL; sons, Patrick Sullivan and wife Rashona of Chicago, IL and James Sullivan and wife Bridgett of Casey, IL; grandson, Connor Sullivan of Casey, IL; sisters, Karen Williams and husband Lynn of Orlando, FL and Jeniece Stafford and husband Lowell of East Peoria, IL; Mother and Father-In-Law, Wanda and Leonard Robey of Greenup, IL; Grandmother In Law, Martha Robey of Casey, IL; Sister In Law, Mary Ann Funk and her husband Harold of Casey, IL Brothers In Law, Mike Robey of Florida and Jerry Robey and wife June of Greenup, IL. His parents preceded him in death. Rodney was a US Navy Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of the Casey United Methodist Church, Casey VFW Post 5762 and graduate of Univ. of Illinois--Springfield, IL. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 26, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at the Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, IL with Dr. Penelope Barber and Rev. Dan Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Casey Cumberland Cemetery with graveside military rites by Casey VFW Post 5762 and Hazel Dell American Legion. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 4 - 7 pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Casey United Methodist Church or Alzheimer's Association. Memorial tributes may be sent to the family at www.markwellfuneralhome.com. Markwell Funeral Home of Casey is in charge of the service.
