Roberta Kay Black's Obituary
Roberta Kay Black, 64, of Casey, IL passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2006 at 7:55 a.m. at Casey Health Care Center in Casey. Roberta was born February 5, 1942 in Terre Haute, IN to Orrin Rondel Bartlett and Retta Eloise Anderson Bartlett. She married Gerald Wayne Black on June 14, 1975 in Casey. He passed away November 28, 1998. Survivors include a daughter Tammy Meeks and husband Jack, a son Rondel Black and friend Angela Campbell, three stepsons, Michael, Mark and Kevin Black and 11 grandchildren, all of Casey. She is also survived by a brother David Bartlett and wife Patricia of Lincoln, IL. Roberta was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Funeral services for Roberta will be on Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Markwell & Son Funeral Home in Casey with Rev. Tom Marsh and Rev. Curt Weaver officiating. Burial will be in Casey-Cumberland Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, October 16, 2006 from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Roberta was the manager of Casey's General Store in Casey for 10 years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Casey. Memorials may be made to the family.
