Robert D "Bob" Gendren's Obituary
Robert D. "Bob" Gendren, 63, of Casey, IL passed away at 2:12 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Coles County, IL. He was born August 16, 1949 in Vincennes, IN, the son of William Bernard Gendren and Betty Imogene Whittington Gendren. On February 11, 1972, he married Brenda Lee Nash in Petersburg, IN. Survivors include his wife of forty years, Brenda Gendren of Casey, IL; sons, Shawn Gendren and Robert Gendren II and wife Tonya of Casey, IL; granddaughter, Annlee Gendren of Casey, IL; brother, Billy Gendren and wife Joy of Princeton, IN and sisters, Sandra Vaughn of Mackey, IN and Pamela House of Grayville, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers in law, Homer Vaughn and William House. Bob was a retired self-employed painter. He was a member of the Casey Masonic Lodge and the Clark County Shrine Club. He previously held the position of President of the Clark County Shrine Club and was a Past Master of the Masonic Lodge. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, October 26, 2012 at the Markwell Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Inman officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday evening at the Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL. Burial will be held at a later date.
