Robert R "Bob" Craig's Obituary
Robert R. "Bob" Craig, 75, of Marshall, Illinois, passed away at 4:22 a.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at Union Hospital, Terre Haute, Indiana. He was born July 21, 1932 in Martinsville, Illinois, the son of Walter Lee Craig and Mabel Elizabeth Zachary Craig. He married Mary Elizabeth (Adcock) Nau on October 20, 1995 in Robinson, IL, she survives. Other survivors include son, Mike Craig and wife Jill Fahy of Marshall, IL; son, Randy Craig of Farmersburg, IN; son, Rick Craig and fiancé Linda Molnar of Cleveland, OH; stepdaughter, Patricia Kious and husband Sam of Greenville, IL; stepdaughter, Barbara Strieker and husband Darrell of Aviston, IL; stepson, John Michael Hockett of Greenville, IL; grandchildren, Emily Craig, Kelsey Craig, Jarod Craig, Kate Himick and step grandchild, Scott Miller and wife Genice. His parents and sister, Lela Faye Dean preceded him in death. Bob retired from Conrail as a project engineer with 39 years of service. He was a veteran of the US Marines and a member of the Marshall American Legion Post #90. Bob was a master woodworker, electrician, and mechanic, "he could fix anything". Graveside funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, south of Martinsville, IL with Military Honors by the Marshall American Legion Post #90. Visitation will be held from 4 - 7 p.m. on Friday, July 18, 2008 at the Greenwell Funeral Home, Martinsville, IL. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4503 W.
