Richard D. "Bucky" Elliott, age 64, of Martinsville, IL passed away at 2:48 p.m. on January 20, 2020 in Terre Haute, IN. He was born December 20, 1955 in Robinson, IL, the son of Warren Laverle Elliott and Maxine Vanarsdalen Elliott. Richard is survived by his son, Tyler Elliott of Martinsville, IL; daughter, Haley Elliott of Martinsville, IL; brother, Ron Elliott of Martinsville, IL; sister, Roberta "Bertie" Stephens (Martin) of Martinsville, IL; mother of his children, Karen Elliott of Martinsville, IL; Missy Hain Stephens of Martinsville, IL who was like a daughter to him and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents; father & mother-in-law, Kenneth and Vineta Fessenbeck; brother; stepfather, Jr. Fleek and nephew, Rodney Stephens. Richard was a 1974 graduate of Martinsville High School and a farmer in the Martinsville area. He was a member of the Clark County Farm Bureau, National Rifle Association and a former member of the Wild Turkey Federation. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at the Greenwell Funeral Home with Rev. Billie Ray Ulrey officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery, rural Martinsville, IL. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the service on Sunday at the Greenwell Funeral Home, 30 N. Washington St., Martinsville, IL.
