Pauline D Williams' Obituary
Pauline D. Williams, age 89, of Casey, died on Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at Heartland Manor Nursing Center in Casey. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2005 at the Markwell & Son Funeral. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. till the time of the service and burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Westfield. She was born March 26, 1916 in Westfield, the daughter of Willis W. and Leah Mae Strader Drake. She married Charles E. Williams on October 8, 1943 in Daytona, FL; he preceded her in death on May 12, 1992. She was co-owner of Williams Grocery in Casey for over 50 years; she also owned Williams Children's Shop for over 25 years and was the owner of a beauty shop in Westfield and Casey for several years. She was a member of the Casey First Baptist Church since 1949, graduated from Westfield High School in 1934 and graduated from the Edith L. Heller School of Beauty Culture in Decatur in 1935. She was a former member of the Casey Business & Professional Women's Club. Surviving are three daughters, Charlene Williams, Judith Ann Williams and Cathie White, all of Casey. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Winston Drake, sister Mary Level and niece Marilyn Adams. Memorials may be made to the Casey First Baptist Church Building Fund.
