Patricia Ann Fischer's Obituary
Patricia Ann Fischer, 66, of Casey, Illinois passed away at 4:10 p.m. on Sunday, February 7, 2010 at Barnes Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri. She was born January 21, 1944 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Lawrence Lafayette Byrd and Odie Carl Burton Byrd. On February 14, 1959 she married Joseph R. Fischer in St. Louis, Missouri. Survivors include her husband of fifty years, Joe Fischer of Casey, IL; daughter, Annette Fain of Casey, IL; daughter, Christine Hartman and husband Lacy of Casey, son, Matthew Fischer of Casey, IL; brother, Robert E. Byrd of Yorba Linda, CA; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Her parents, infant daughter, Kimberly Elaine Fischer, four sisters and five brothers preceded her in death. Mrs. Fischer was a self-employed artist and had contracted her work through Penny Lane Publishing of New Carlisle, Ohio. She was a 1959 graduate of McKinley High School in St. Louis, MO and was a member of the Pulmonary Hypertension Association. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at the Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, IL with Rev. Mark Copley officiating. Burial will follow in the Washington Street Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Memorial donations and contributions may be made to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association, 801 Roeder Rd., Suite 400, Silver Spring, MD 20910.
