Minnie Catherine"Kay" Dill's Obituary
Minnie Catherine "Kay" Dill, age 91, of Martinsville, IL passed away at 7:15 a.m. on Friday, June 14, 2019 at Casey Health Care Center, Casey, IL. She was born September 29, 1927 in Clark County, IL, the daughter of Guy Napier and Julia Grubb Napier. On August 13, 1945 she married Robert E. "Bob" Dill in Terre Haute, IN; he passed away on November 9, 2000. Survivors include her children, Connie Beasley (Robert) of Martinsville, IL and David Dill (Susie) of Marshall, IL; sister, Ada Simpson of Casey, IL; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and two great great granchildern. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Delane Napier and sisters, Evelyn Hart and June Davidson. Kay was a 1945 graduate of Martinsville High School. She was employed by TRW as a line supervisor and previously worked in quality control for Charles Industries. She was also a cook for the Rex Café in Casey, IL. Kay was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Martinsville, where she was always available as a volunteer for Vacation Bible School. She enjoyed Bible study groups and reading. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 17, 2019 at Greenwell Funeral Home with Brother Art Orndorff officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery, Martinsville, IL. Visitation will be held from 10" " 11 a.m. on Monday prior to the service at Greenwell Funeral Home, 30 N. Washington St., Martinsville, IL. Memorial donations may be made to the Donor"™s Choice.
