Millicent V Martin's Obituary
Millicent V. Martin, 82, of Meredith, N.H. passed away at Forestview Manor in Meredith, N.H. on Sunday, September 9, 2007. She was born January 4, 1925 in New Hampton, N.H., the daughter of Alfred S. and Vernie Huckins Mallorey. She was the widow of Gordon Martin, who passed away in April 2002. Mrs. Martin lived in Illinois since 1944 and was a Professor of Child Development at the University of Illinois. She was an active member, past president and state delegate of the Business and Professional Women's. Mrs. Martin moved to New Hampshire in February 2006 due to illness. She is survived by her brother Wesley D. Mallorey and wife Tish of Laconia, N.H.; nieces, Valeda Waddell of Loveland, CO and Melissa Jane Clark of Casper, WY; a nephew, James Mallorey of Littleton, CO; several grandnieces and grandnephews and several great grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded by her parents, husband and sister, Alfreda E. Graham in 1988. Graveside Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at the family lot in DeBord Cemetery, Grandville Twp., north of Yale, IL. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be made to one's own favorite charity. Memorial tributes may be sent to the family at www.markwellfuneralhome.com.
