Mildred Neoma Paul's Obituary
Mildred Neoma Paul, age 105, of Casey, IL passed away at 5:58 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2022 at Heartland Nursing and Rehabilitation, Casey, IL. She was born February 26, 1917 in Union Center, IL, the daughter of Roscoe Kuhn and Maude Handley Kuhn.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Ada Darling of Greenup, IL; seven grandchildren, Rick Darling of Topeka, KS, James Darling of Corinth, TX, Chris Darling of Alpharetta, GA, Kathie Goodwin of Granite City, IL, Lana Clift of Salem, IN, Lisa Lindow of Lakeland, FL, and Lori Mason of Nampa, ID; twenty-five great grandchildren; twenty-one great great grandchildren; and several nephews, nieces, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Raymond Darling; brother, Leland Kuhn; and sisters, Lucille Melton and Leota Thomas.
Mildred was an upper cutter for Ettelbrick Shoe Company in both Casey and Greenup locations, retiring after twenty years. She was a former member of the Casey Moose Club. Mildred was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Greenup, IL, she was saved at 99 years old.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Markwell Funeral Home with Pastor Brooke Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Harmony Cemetery, rural Greenup, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Saturday morning prior to the service at Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL.
