Mildred Louise Coleman's Obituary
Mildred Louise Coleman, 86, of Hazel Dell, IL passed away at 3:35 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Casey Health Care Center, Casey, IL. She was born December 13, 1924 in Casey, IL, the daughter of Lester Lawrence Matheny and Ruby Elizabeth Pumphrey Matheny. On February 23, 1943 she married Leland Max Coleman in Casey, IL. Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Max Coleman of Hazel Dell, IL; sons, Roy Coleman and his wife Betty of Yale, IL; Lester Coleman of Casey, IL; Max L. Coleman and his wife Jeanette of Shelbyville, IL; Richard Coleman and his wife Barb of Casey, IL; daughters, Mary Martin and her husband Wayne of Springerton, IL, Nancy Culler and her husband Harold of Hazel Dell, IL and Betty Nidey and her husband Jerry of Casey, IL; and one sister, Joann Wattleworth and her husband Norman of Hazel Dell, IL; 28 Grandchildren and 45 Great Grandchildren, son in law, Larry Beauchamp, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughters, Susan Coleman and Rosalie Beauchamp; brother, Earl Max Matheny; sisters, Betty Jungklaus, Margaret L. Harper, and Patsy Morehead; daughter in law, Mary E. Whitesell Coleman and granddaughter, Amy Diane Martin. Through the years, Mildred worked at Casey Ettelbrick Shoe Factory, Davis Laundromat and Lacey's Grocery. She was a member of Casey First Church of the Nazarene. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at the Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, IL with Rev. Danny Harper officiating. Burial will follow in the Hazel Dell South Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening at the funeral home.
