Maxine Myers' Obituary
Maxine Aleen Myers, age 81, of Greenup, died on Friday, July 15, 2005 at the Cumberland Nursing Center in Greenup. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 18, 2005 at the Bishop Funeral Home in Greenup with Rev. L. Wayne Mollohan officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service and burial will be in the Aten Cemetery of rural Hidalgo. She was born October 2, 1923 in Toledo, the daughter of Daniel and Lora Inez Oakley Seeley. She married Virgil LaVerle Myers in May, 1941; he preceded her in death on April 8, 1978. She was a shoe cutter for the Ettlebrick Shoe Company. Surviving are sons Todd Myers and wife Angie of Lerna, Tim Myers and wife Brenda of Heartville, daughters Linda Mollohan and husband Bob of Decatur and Sandra Sanders and husband Wayne of Lincoln, sisters Kathleen Garrett of Lincoln, Dorothy Fogle of Belleville, Rose Cutright of Ashmore, Betty Bland of Cisna, Carol Comer of Casey, Connie Parker of Greenup, Nancy Willoughby of Riverton and Karen Trigg of Toledo, 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers, one sister, one daughter and one grandson. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
