Maurine Inman Snearley's Obituary
Maurine Inman Snearley, 90, of Casey, IL passed away at 2:45 a.m. on Monday, March 4, 2013 at Heartland Nursing Center, Casey, IL. She was born December 3, 1922 in Martinsville, IL, the daughter of Stephen A. Douglas Inman and Pearl Catherine Lowe Inman. On May 29, 1941 in St. Charles, MO, she married Carl Snearley. He preceded her in death on March 8, 2009. Survivors include her sons, Jerry Snearley and wife Sherri, Bill Snearley, and Ron Snearley and wife Lori, all of Martinsville, IL; daughters, Ann McMorris and husband Bill of Greenup, IL and Marsha Ring and husband Dennis of Casey, IL; daughter-in-law, Sue Snearley of Casey, IL; nineteen grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded by her parents, husband, sons, Michael Lee and Carl Eugene Snearley, granddaughter, Peggy Lynn Snearley, brothers, Alvie and Junior, and sisters, Vera and Hazel. Mrs. Snearley was a member of the Casey White Oak Church of God. She was a homemaker and later in life worked for Cinch in Casey as an assembler. Maurine was a lifetime member of the Casey VFW Ladies Auxiliary and a member of Darcie's Relay for Life team. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, IL with Rev. Kenny Inman officiating. Burial will follow in the Walnut Cemetery, south of Casey. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at the Markwell Funeral Home.
