Mary Lou Neal Sherman's Obituary
Mary Lou Sherman, 85, of Rio Frio, TX formerly of Casey, IL passed away at 4:02 a.m. on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at her daughter's home. She was born April 14, 1930 in Charleston, IL the daughter of Guy U. Neal and Mary A. Walters Neal. Survivors include daughters, Marilyn (David) Crockett of Converse, TX and Carolyn (William) Horan of Rio Frio, TX; son, Gregory N. Sherman of Leakey, TX; brother, Richard (Carolyn) Neal of Casey, IL; six grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, the father of her children, Charles Sherman; brothers, Robert, Bill and Charles (Chod) Neal and sister, Martha June Porter. Mary Lou was a 1948 graduate of Casey High School. She was a homemaker and a member of the Casey First Christian Church, Casey, IL. She enjoyed waterskiing, boating, golfing and most of all cooking. Graveside funeral services and burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at the Casey Cumberland Cemetery, Casey, IL with the Rev. Dr. Penelope H. Barber officiating.
