Mary Louise Northway's Obituary
Mary Louise Northway, 91, of Monticello, IL and formerly of Casey, IL died at 5:40 am Sunday, December 18, 2005 at the Piatt County Nursing Home in Monticello, IL. Mary was born March 18, 1914 in Litchfield, Illinois to Fred Harmon and Louise Bivins Harmon. On December 24, 1932 in Litchfield, IL she married Glen Edward Northway. He preceded her in death on April 20, 1978. Survivors include a daughter, Donna Ault & husband Dan of Pinehurst, NC; son, Scott Northway & wife Jody of Monticello, IL; Granddaughters, Lela Marie Northway Miller and husband Kenneth, Rebecca Lynn Northway Tate and husband Andrew, Stephanie Michelle Northway, and Danelle Lynn Ault Petero and husband Clay; and Five Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sisters: Lydia Harmon and Florence Perkins and 2 brothers: Robert Harmon and W.B. "Bill" Harmon. Mary owned and operated the Northway Studio in Casey and Greenup for than 40 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Casey and later a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Monticello. She was a long time member and past president of the Business and Professional Women's Organization in Casey; a member of Professional Photographers of America and the Southern Illinois Art League. Visitation will be Tuesday evening December 20, 2005 from 4-7 pm at the Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, IL. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at the Casey First Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Marsh officiating. Burial will at 12:00 (noon) in the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Effingham, IL.
