Martha June Neal Porter, 77, of Casey, IL, passed away at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 14, 2012 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Coles County, IL. She was born June 24, 1934 in Cumberland County, IL, the daughter of Ural Guy Neal and Mary Alora Walters Neal. Survivors include son, Randy L. Perry and wife Barb of Casey, IL; daughter, Lori L. McFall and husband Cris of Greenwood, IN; brother, Richard "Rich" Neal of Casey, IL; sister, Mary Lou Sherman of Cypress, TX; grandchildren, Andrea J. and Benjamin D. McFall and Steven R. Smith and Kaitlin E. Perry and great granddaughter, Parker Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Robert, Charles "Chod" and Bill Neal. Martha spent her early years working as an operator for the Alltel Telephone Company in Casey, IL. She was retired from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources as a law enforcement dispatcher. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Casey, IL. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday May 24, 2012 at the Markwell Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Copley officiating. Burial will follow in the Casey Cumberland Cemetery, Casey, IL. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL.
