Margaret E. Stinson, 76, of Fairbanks, Indiana passed away at 12:37 a.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at Heartland Manor, Casey, Illinois. She was born August 24, 1931 in Martinsville, Illinois, the daughter of William E. Grubb and Nina M. Galey Grubb. On August 12, 1950, she married Oscar Stinson in Martinsville, Illinois. Survivors include her husband of fifty-seven years, Oscar Stinson of Fairbanks, IN; son, Carroll Stinson and wife Ilene of Casey, IL; sister, Berna Deane Waterman of Nicholasville, KY; grandchildren, Michelle Draper and husband Troy of Noblesville, IN; Tanya Duniphan and husband Max of Casey, IL; Aaron Stinson and friend Jessica Knierim of Casey, IL and Katie Stinson of Casey, IL; great grandchildren, Harley, Layden and Malia Duniphan of Casey, IL and Jade and Kaleb Draper of Noblesville, IN. Her parents and brother, Paul E. Grubb preceded her in death. Mrs. Stinson was a homemaker and a member of the Martinsville Bible Church. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2008 at the Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, Illinois. Burial will be in the Casey Cumberland Cemetery. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, Midwest Affiliate, Dept. 77-3968, Chicago, IL 60678-3968.
