Margaret "Maggie" Connelly's Obituary
Margaret "Maggie" Connelly, age 83, of Casey, IL passed away at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Heartland Nursing Center, Casey, IL. She was born December 18, 1936 in Casey, IL the daughter of William Durward Wilson and Vena Stults Wilson. In 1954 she married Doyle Allen Connelly and he preceded her in death on November 27, 2016. She is survived by daughters Cherie Ashley and husband Shannon of Casey, IL and Charlotte Webb and husband Bob of Katy, TX; five grandchildren Brock Ashley (Angela), Brett Ashley (Tara), Bryce Webb (Nellie), Kyle Webb and Trentyn Webb (fiancé Christe); ten great grandchildren Will, Camryn, Brooklyn, Joel, Jaret, Madilyn, Caiden and Carter Ashley and Trysten and Makayla Webb; sister Rachel Blair of Paris, IL; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, parents, brother Bill Wilson; brother-in-law Don Blair and niece Donna Offutt. Margaret was a member of the First Baptist Church in Casey, IL. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be truly missed by all. Celebration of life for Margaret and Doyle will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at First Baptist Church, 101 E Alabama Ave, Casey, IL with Pastor Brock Ashley and Pastor Jon McDonald officiating.
