Lucy Jane Jodry's Obituary
Lucy Jane Jodry, age 82, of Martinsville, IL passed away at 12:26 p.m. on Monday, August 5, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 18, 1942 in Casey, IL the daughter of Richard K. Smiley and Hattie Leola Lucille (Churchill) Smiley. On October 6, 1972 she married Johnie Eugene "John" Jodry in Paris, IL; he passed away on November 15, 2014.
Survivors include her children, son, James William "Bill" Jodry of Martinsville, IL; Teresa "Terri" Cribelar and husband Brent of Casey, IL and Rocky Turner and wife Lori of Martinsville, IL; sister, Mary Knicley of Robinson, IL; grandchildren, Kayla Jodry, Kylee Jodry, Mike Siverly (Jill), Joshua Turner (Katie), Amanda Turner, Kaycee Hood (Cody) and great grandchildren, Tessa Siverly, Johnny Siverly, Clayton Siverly, Laura Turner and Braxton Turner. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Smiley and Lucille Johnson; husband, John Jodry; brother James Smiley; sister, Wanda Clearwater and grandson, Scott Eugene Siverly.
Jane was a 1960 graduate of Casey High School. She worked for Pap R Products in Martinsville, IL for over 25 years as a machine operator. She enjoyed painting and doing diamond art. Jane loved animals, especially her cat "Baby Ricky" who stayed by her side when she came home.
Graveside services and burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, rural Martinsville, IL with Rev. Billie Ray Ulrey officiating.
