Lowell Eugene Frederick's Obituary
Lowell Eugene Frederick, 84, of Peoria, AZ, formerly of Martinsville, IL passed away on November 14, 2016 in AZ. He was born on July 14, 1932 in Janesville, Wisconsin the son of Ransom Frederick and Nellie Hazen Frederick. Lowell was a proud "railroad man" at heart and loved working for the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad Company as a telegrapher. He lived the last seven years of his life at the Lifestream Cook Center in Youngstown, AZ, where he used his witty personality and strong faith in Jesus Christ to bring joy to others in this skilled nursing facility. He was an active member of North Phoenix Baptist Church, then at First Baptist Church of Sun City. A long-time Chicago Cubs fan, he was thrilled with their 2016 World Series win. His sister, Valerie, and brother, Joe, preceded him in death. He is survived by cousins, Pat (Paul) Querry of Hummelstown, PA and Bob (Faye) Hazen of Festus, MO and many close friends. A memorial service will be held at the Cook Center Chapel at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2016. Services entrusted to Advantage Golden Door Chapel, Youngtown, AZ.
