Louise Wilson's Obituary
Louise Wilson, 91, of Casey, Illinois passed away at 9 p.m. on Sunday, February 24, 2008 at Casey Health Care Center, Casey, Illinois. She was born on September 2, 1916 in Casey, Illinois, the daughter of Walter Short and Edna Hills Short. She married Forrest Claypool; he passed away on July 19, 1945. On July 9, 1947 she married Max Wilson in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Survivors include her husband, Max Wilson of Casey, Illinois; son, Stanley R. Claypool and wife Nancy of Niceville, Florida; son, Mike Wilson of Sun Lakes, Arizona; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Her parents, first husband, Forrest Claypool; son, Jerry Claypool; brothers, Lowell, Lamont, Bob and Gene Short; sister, Laverne Kepper and infant grandchild, Jacquelyn Wilson, preceded her. Mrs. Wilson worked as a Nurse's Aid for Birchwood Nursing Home in Casey, Illinois for over fifteen years. She previously worked at the Casey Nursing Home and Arndt's. She was a member of the Casey First Baptist Church, a former member of the Rebecca Lodge and was a volunteer at the local nursing homes. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at the Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, Illinois with Rev. Tom Marsh officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Lincolnland Home Care, 700 Broadway Ave. East, Suite 9, Mattoon, IL 61938.
