Loretta Mae Cox Mitchell's Obituary
Loretta Mae Cox Mitchell, 65, of Casey, Illinois passed away at 5:20 p.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2007 at the home of her niece in Casey, Illinois. She was born September 1, 1942 in Terre Haute, Indiana the daughter of Lester Cox and Juanita Collins Cox. Survivors include her brother, Richard Cox of Bennington, Vermont; sister in law, Beverly Haskins of Casey, IL; brothers in law, Dan Nation of Florida and Gary Graham of Arkansas; nephew, Douglas Cox of Syracuse, NY; nieces, Jennifer Cox of New York City, NY, Carlotta Athey and husband Rick of Casey, IL and Suzanne Biggs and husband Roger of Casey, IL; great nieces and nephews, Bridgette Cox, Jeffery Cox, Brock Athey, Bryant Athey, Brianna Athey, Garrett Biggs and Tia Biggs. She was preceded by her parents, daughter, Rhonda Kay Perry; and sisters, Sue Graham and Patricia Ann Nation. Loretta was a retired secretary for Cash & Carry in Florida. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Casey, IL. In honor of Loretta's wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. She will be cremated, a graveside committal for her ashes will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Lincolnland Hospice or Casey First Baptist Church.
