Lorene Loveina Collier's Obituary
Lorene Loveina Collier, of Paris, IL, formerly of Martinsville, IL passed away at 3:13 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Union Hospital, Terre Haute, IN. She was born on September 24, 1924 in Martinsville, IL, the daughter of Albert Russell Tuttle and Neva Loveina Bowen Tuttle. Survivors include her son, Harry Collier of Paris, IL; brother, Dale Tuttle of Mattoon, IL; sisters, Mildred Gray of Oakland, IL and Leona Joan Hart of Tahlequah, OK; four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Allen Leo Collier and two nephews. Lorene was a 1948 graduate of Paris High School, Paris, IL. She had previously worked at TRW in Marshall, IL; Zenith in Paris, IL and Woolworth's in Paris, IL. She enjoyed crocheting and watching television. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at the Greenwell Funeral Home with Pastor Billie Ray Ulrey officiating. Burial will follow in the Island Grove Cemetery, Martinsville, IL. Visitation will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service at the Greenwell Funeral Home, 30 N. Washington St., Martinsville, IL. Memorial donations may be made to the Donor's Choice.
