Lois E Thomas' Obituary
Lois E. Thomas, 69, of Greenup, IL, passed away at 3:20 a.m. at Heartland Manor Nursing Center in Casey, IL. She was born November 11, 1936, in Casey, IL, the daughter of Harry M. Callahan and Ina Clara Brown Callahan. She married Fred Thomas on March 29, 1958 in Marshall, IL. Survivors include her husband Fred of Greenup, IL; two daughters, Lenora Harmon and husband Randy of Effingham, IL and Laurie Thomas and husband Keith Reichert of Athens, IL; three grandchildren, Nathan Warfel (Becky Lewis) of Greenup, IL, Hannah Warfel (Jeremy Williams) of Martinsviile, IL and Garrett Reichert; three great grandchildren, Breehannah Fore, Zachary Fore and Wyatt Warfel. She was preceded by her parents and two brothers, Robert Lee Callahan and Marion L. "Butch" Callahan. Mrs. Thomas was a member of the Greenup VFW Ladies Auxillary and a former member of Rural Women's Club. She was a homemaker. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at Markwell & Son Funeral Home with John Monnet officiating. Visitation will be Monday, June 12, 2006 from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Block Cemetery in Greenup,IL. Memorials may be made to the Faith Fellowship Church and Mission in Hidalgo, IL.
