Lois Hoyt's Obituary
Lois Gertrude Hoyt, 89, of Marshall, died on Sunday, August 28, 2005 at the Burnsides Nursing Home in Marshall. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 1, 2005 at the Pearce Funeral Home in Marshall with Bro. John Cutshall officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2005 at the funeral home and from 7 a.m to time of service on Thursday. Burial will be in the Toledo Cemetery in Toledo, IL. She was born August 7, 1916 in Toledo, the daughter of Carl and Dorothy Miller Burton. She married Billy Jack Hoyt on August 28, 1935; he preceded her in death on November 4, 1989. She had worked at TRW and the Burnsides Nursing Home in Marshall. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Marshall. Surviving are a son, Steve Hoyt and wife Donna of Cypress, TX, sister Florence Keller of Mattoon, nephew Dennis Keller of Mattoon, five step-grandchildren, eight step-great grandchildren and two step-great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
