Lawrence Edward "Larry" Shelton, Sr., 71, of Casey, IL passed away at 5:13 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute, IN. He was born on August 4, 1939 in West Union, IL; the son of Arthur Shelton and Virginia Rush Shelton. On April 19, 1960, he married Linda Lee Sanders in Marshall, IL. Survivors include his wife, Linda Shelton of Casey, IL; daughter, Tonya Shelton of Casey, IL; son, Lawrence E. Shelton, Jr. of Greenup, IL; sister, Diane Johnson of Westfield, IL; sister, Jane Baugh of Lubbock, TX; brother, Richard Shelton of Robinson, IL; grandchildren, Landen Shelton, Landry Shelton, Skyler Shelton and Christopher Walls and great grandchildren, Brylee Shelton and Ayden Rhoads. Larry was retired from Huisinga Grain, Inc. after forty years of service. He was a US Marine veteran. Larry was loved and respected by many. At his request, there will be no services.
