Larry Allan Wells' Obituary
Larry Allan Wells, 66, of Martinsville, IL passed away at 5:30 a.m. on Monday, October 18, 2010 at Burnsides Community Health Center, Marshall, IL. He was born December 24, 1943 in Livonia, MI, the son of Glenn Herman Wells and Myla Cecile Hammond Wells. On January 8, 1988 he married Lea K. Batson in Madisonville, KY. Survivors include his wife, Lea Wells, of Martinsville, IL; son, Larry A. Wells, Jr. of CO; son, Maht Wells of Chicago, IL; son, Jarrett Wells and wife Andrea of Athens, IL; daughter, Sarah Wells of Martinsville, IL; daughter, Mary Anne Wells of Eureka, IL; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant son, James Wesley Wells, brother, Glendal and sister, Peggy Kirkham. Mr. Wells worked as a self employed construction worker. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at the Greenwell Funeral Home, Martinsville, IL with Rev. Mike Luke officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery south of Martinsville, IL. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
