Larry Dean Budd's Obituary
Larry Dean Budd, 66, of Casey, Illinois, passed away at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 17, 2009 at Heartland Manor Nursing Home in Casey, Illinois. He was born December 21, 1942, in Lawrence County, Illinois, the son of John Lee Budd and Bonnie C. Edgin Budd. On July 2, 1961, he married Judith Ilene Black in Cumberland County, Illinois. Survivors include his loving wife of forty-eight years, Judy Budd, of Casey, IL; mother, Bonnie Remlinger and husband Harry of Marshall, IL; sons, Loren Darrel Budd and wife Sherry of Rushville, IN; Larry Dean Budd II and wife Rhonda of Casey, IL; Charles Dewayne Budd of Casey, IL; John David Budd and wife Gale of Issaquah, WA; daughter, Alma Julene Ellen Redding and husband Bruce of New Iberia, LA; brother, Jimmy Budd and wife June of Marshall, IL; sister, Donna Kay Love and husband Curt of Marshall, IL; adopted sister, Kathy Remlinger of Marshall, IL; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren, many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, daughter, LaDeana Ilene Budd; sister, Sharon Kellum and brothers, Louis Budd and Richard Budd. Larry worked for the Casey Township Cemeteries as Cemetery Sexton for over 34 years before retiring. He was a former EMT and ambulance driver for the Casey Ambulance Service and assisted the Markwell's at the funeral home and with their ambulance service from time to time. He was a member of the Clark County Auxiliary Police and Casey ESDA. Larry attended the Casey First Baptist Church and was a member of Casey Masonic Lodge #442. He was a member of the Danville Consistory as a 32nd degree Mason and a former Cub Scout Master. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at the Macedonia Baptist Church, 1075 Co Rd 2400, Casey, Illinois with Rev. Gene Ellis and Rev. Tom Marsh officiating. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday evening at Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, Illinois with a Masonic Service at 7 p.m. by the Casey Masonic Lodge #442. Memorial donations and contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2001 S.
