L Nadean Paxson's Obituary
L. Nadean Paxson, 80, of Martinsville, Illinois formerly of Westfield, Illinois passed away at 5 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at Casey Health Care Center, Casey, Illinois. She was born March 22, 1928 in Gallatin County, Illinois, the daughter of William Alfred Hutchcraft and Pearl Williams Hutchcraft. On March 21, 1945 she married Perry Eugene Paxson in St. Elmo, Illinois. Survivors include her husband of sixty-three years, Perry E. Paxson of Martinsville, Illinois; son, Bruce Duane Paxson and wife Nancy of Springfield, Missouri; daughter, Vicki Jo Morgan of Grandview, Illinois; son, Jerry Dean Paxson of Martinsville, Illinois; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brother, Albert G. Hutchcraft and wife Madge of Carmi, Illinois; brother, Donald R. Hutchcraft and wife Cecelia of Collierville, Tennessee and sister, Venita Doris Upton of Carmi, Illinois. Her parents, one brother and two sisters preceded her in death. Mrs. Paxson was a homemaker and will be fondly remembered cooking breakfast and lunch for customers for over twenty-five years at Miss Lillian's Westfield Diner. She also attended the Westfield United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at the Westfield United Methodist Church, Westfield, Illinois with Rev. Gene Southard and Rev. Charles Shelquist officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Westfield, Illinois. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the Markwell Chapel, Westfield, Illinois.
