Kurtis Lee Ramsey, nine months, 3 days old, died on Wednesday, January 11, 2006 at his home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2005 at the Markwell & Son Funeral Home in Casey with Rev. Brooke Davis officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home and burial will be in the Mt. Olive Kickapoo Cemetery. He was born April 8, 2005 in Mattoon, IL, the son of Robert W. Ramsey, III and Laura Irene Scott Ramsey. Surviving are his parents, Bobby and Laura Ramsey of Casey, brother Bryce Ramsey of Casey, paternal grandparents Robert and Diane Ramsey of Casey, maternal grandparents Sharon Balch and husband Joe of Mattoon, maternal great-grandmother Vera Rardin of Charleston, two uncles, David Biggs of Mattoon and Jim Ramsey and fiance' Melissa Stipp of Casey, two aunts, Michelle Balch of Mattoon and Lorri Whitaker of Greenup, cousins Erin and Tara Biggs and Levi and Brittany Whitaker and special friends Jere and Debbie McSparran. Memorials may be made to Lincolnland Hospice, 700 Broadway Ave East, Suite 9, Mattoon, IL 61938.
