Justin Arthur Wible's Obituary
Justin Arthur Wible of Casey, Illinois and Canyon Lake, Texas formerly of Clinton, Indiana, passed away at 4:40 a.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in New Braunfels, Texas. He was born August 25, 1922 in Farmersburg, Indiana, the son of Ralph E. Wible and Esther B. Patton Wible. He married Elizabeth Ramsey, who preceded him in death on February 9, 1988. He then married Margie Jean Fudge Schiver on December 27, 1989. Survivors include his wife, Margie of Canyon Lake, TX; son, Greg Wible (Jean) of Indianapolis, IN; daughters, Meridith Addison (Larry) of Hillsdale, IN; Melissa Wible of Terre Haute, IN; stepson, Frank Schiver (Linda) of San Antonio, TX; stepdaughters, Ginger Vreeland (Dan) of Royalton, IL, Iona Gross (Durward) of Casey, IL, Kathy Whitehead (Robert) of Canyon Lake, TX , Angela Goodman (Mark) of Casey, IL; sister , Edith Austin (Robert) of Terre Haute, IN; twenty grandchildren and twenty seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, sons Geoffrey L. Wible and Matthew S. Wible; sister, Rowena McKay and brother, Phillip Wible; and grandson, Travis Gross. Justin retired from Eli Lilly in Clinton, IN after thirty-eight years of employment. He was a WWII US Army Air Corp veteran and a member of the American Legion. He was a member of the Church of Christ. A Texas memorial service will be held Friday, April 22, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ, 15500 N Ranch Road 12 in Wimberley, Texas. An Illinois memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be held at the Farmersburg West Lawn Cemetery in Farmersburg, IN at a later date.
