Juney A Rowe's Obituary
Juney A. Rowe, 85, of Lincoln, IL formerly of Tuscola and Casey, IL went to join the Lord on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at St. Clara Manor, Lincoln, IL. She was born July 1, 1925 in Norris City, IL, the daughter of Charles Andrew Weaver and Lucinda Adell Richardson Weaver. On April 30, 1965, she married Carroll Rowe in Tuscola, IL. He passed away on December 16, 2006. Survivors include her daughters, Deborah June Eckert and husband Robert of Lincoln, IL and Cathie Cinda Edwards of Auburn, IL.; a sister, Shirley Zakowski of Tuscola, IL., two step daughters, Janis (Ronald) Watson of Little Rock, AR and Charlene Kimpler of Morton, IL, and six grandchildren, Dr. Andrew (Rene) Eckert of Camp Hill, PA, Jamie Eckert of Lincoln, IL, David Edwards of Rantoul, IL, Danielle and Sarah Edwards of Springfield, IL, and Heidi (Ken) Heidbreder of Belleville, IL, three step grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She also left a former son-in-law, Dave Edwards, and her "adopted" daughter Betty Daughty. Her parents, husband, son, Charles Ralph Williams, grand daughter Skye Edwards, and brothers, Charles R. Weaver and Dannie A. Weaver preceded her in death. Juney retired from GTE as a Senior Service Rep. She also owned the Lady Bug and Mr. Chuck in Tuscola, IL: a member of BPW and state officer in Tuscola, IL; she served six years on the Douglas County Mental Health Board and two years on the Douglas County Bicentennial Board. Juney was a very devoted Christian lady and was known as a prayer warrior. She was a member of Jefferson Street Christian Church in Lincoln, IL. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. Funeral services and burial will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Washington Street Cemetery, Casey, IL with Reverend Curt Weaver (nephew) officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 pm to 2 pm prior to the service on Wed., Nov. 3rd at the Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL.
